It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a loved one, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for those grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare is a 13 week support group hosted by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A workbook assists you with note taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery. Topics include: Living With Grief, The Journey and Effects of Grief, When Your Spouse Dies, Why?, Stuck In Grief and more.
GriefShare meets on Monday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm at CHERRY (600 E Cherry St in Olney). Childcare is available by request. GriefShare groups are designed to be “open”. An individual can enter the group at any time during the 13-week program. .
