It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a loved one, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for those grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare is a 13 week support group hosted by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A workbook assists you with note taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery. Topics include: Living With Grief, The Journey and Effects of Grief, When Your Spouse Dies, Why?, Stuck In Grief and more.
GriefShare meets on Monday evenings from 5-7pm at CHERRY (600 E Cherry St in Olney). Enter in the North side of the CHERRY building to Room 401. Childcare is available by request. GriefShare groups are designed to be “open”. An individual can enter the group at any time during the 13-week program.
