That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for those grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare is a 13 week support group sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion. A workbook assists you with note taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery. Topics include: Living With Grief, The Journey and Effects of Grief, When Your Spouse Dies, Why?, Stuck In Grief and more.
GriefShare meets on Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm at CHERRY (600 E Cherry St in Olney) Enter in the front doors of the building and someone will direct you to the meeting room. Childcare is available by request. GriefShare groups are designed to be “open” so that a person can begin coming any week.
